That’s tragic. That poor boy. Can we thank the Tory cuts to the NHS mental health and Social Services for this happening then?
Edit- thanks for the downvote. Care to explain?
What a terrible waste of human life, I wonder how they died. Seen a few articles but I guess it’s too early to start guessing how they died
What a juxtaposition. Performative mourning for someone who lived in luxury to a ripe old age, and callously casual acceptance of people like this dying before their time, seemingly with growing regularity. This is the duality that makes modern Britain seem so awful and dystopian to me.
Another avoidable, tragic loss of life. Does anyone have more details on this? The article is sparse.
Wow, the fucking link to the independet makes you answer questions if you want to read the article. Where is the free press?
That’s what happens when you leave a 10 year old mum alone with her 10 year old child. What were social services thinking?
Perhaps if there was more money going into the system and not the upcoming funeral and coronation which is shutting down the country, more people won’t be dying.
I mean Jesus fuck what a depressing headline.
Well thank god we’ve got all this money going towards the parade. Wouldn’t want children and their parents to be fed and alive
Thing is, it won’t be the last either. So many people will be too scared to use heating this winter
What does the post say? It won’t let me read it without registering -_-
I still genuinely don’t think it’s directly all about the money, but about making not working the most miserable, depressing existence possible, so that people will accept any kind of work, no matter how awful, and even if the work won’t remotely give you any chance to escape your misery.
They feel that the peasant classes should toil til they die, to ensure the wealthy stay wealthy.
Stay classy Britain. Got plenty of money to throw at a fucking dead person though. 🙄
This is the uk shame on our DWP and politicians not an ounce of empathy for these poor families
