If I’m not mistaken, it’s the village feast (“festa”) of St. George. The proper day of celebration is on Sunday, but there are events all throughout the week.

It’s a village feast! Celebrating the village patron saint! usually are fun and good vibes (and I’m not even catholic). There’s at least three of them every weekend around Malta and gozo
