What I find pointless is for gender to have any legal basis to begin with, like if homosexual people can marry and adopt and law is to be written to be gender agnostic and people are not to be discriminated by sex, then gender shall have no legal basis instead and if they are to be an identifier they shall be able to be changed at whim, like names.
Trans law, gay law, black law, women’s law; etc… only serve to add complexity because politicians refuse to go back and ammend the “everyone’s law” so that everyone is included, by means of simplification, by increasing freedom, the freedom for people to change a one letter meaningless identifier, go into hormone treatment, etc… by their own choice, and none’s else; for that you don’t add a law, you remove the laws that prevent this freedom in the first place.
There is much more important stuff to do. Like building a NATO base in Lappee.
In my oppinion it seems strange that self declaration is enough. It is obvious it will be misused by many people. Other than that it seems pretty well done.

I kind of agree that this is a good thing, so people don’t need to be sterile or to go see a psychiatrist. Only thing is that we might need to change other laws also because of this so things will be more equal for everyone. (I know a lot of people who would have taken advantage of this for the conscription when I went to do my time in the military)
Hopefully this gets abused to the max, and I think it will. Looking forward to all the creative stuff that emerges.
