Why is this beast even being considered for parole rather than just locked up forever?

I remember her daughter on the news a few years back raising awareness about the case and the fact that this man was never prosecuted for sexually abusing her.

Why wasn’t he jailed for getting her pregnant at 14?
Instead he got her pregnant with a second child before she was 16 and then killed her.
Where the fuck were the police?
Is there any evidence whatsoever that he’s been rehabilitated in any way? If not, keep him locked up. The fact that he’s avoiding taking responsibility for the prior abuse speaks volumes.
I know that our “justice” system pulls out all the stops in pursuit of letting dangerous criminals back onto the streets after a nominal sentence, but they should be at least paying lip service to contrition before that happens. Otherwise, one might come away with the impression that our legal system is a joke!
He always will be and I suspect this is a just a box-ticking exercise the parole board have to go through. They know he is going nowhere, I suspect he knows it too. It is still something they likely have to do on a regular basis, even though he will certainly serve his full sentence. That is just another part of the justice system.
Shropshire is such a lovely safe county and then there’s Telford.
