Cut slices of desired size with a knife. It’s ready to eat. Put it on some good bread if it’s a bit much by itself
Hard sausage rare in your country?
Yes, eat as is. But do not forget the beer! Hope you are having a great time in Norway 🙂
Get flatbread, som extra salted butter, cut some thin slices of the sausage and put on top. Wash down with good beer. Win.
Take off the plastic first.
For the love of god don’t cool it
It needs to be boiled first, for at least half an hour.
I’m not sure about droids, but if you have a iPhone you can take a photo of the words, then go to photos and press the “scan text” symbol on the bottom right, and it will give you an option to translate it for you.
Eat as is with a beer. I like the slices as thin as possible and the skin peeled off.
As is.
Or in small cubes in soups
As is, take of plastic and “skin”, slice in small bits, enjoy
Congrats! You just found one of the best things to eat in norway!
You probably *could* cook it, but I don’t see why. It’s a bit of a Norwegian delicacy on its own, preferably with your favorite drink whether it be beer, wine or some non-alcoholic choice.
No its cured like salami but much better
As is, but cut off the outer skin, and eat it in slices.
Its like Norwegian beef jerky / salami.
Are cured meats like this rare in the US or something?
Now the only thing I want to know what boiled hjortepølse i brød would taste like.
