Hello folks,
What are the things you deduct most often from your declaration? According with this website there are quite few https://en.comparis.ch/steuern/steuern/information/abzuege-schweiz-tipps
Do you confirm you can deduct your travel expenses? From. Which tax source? Federal taxes?
Even the lunch meal you had at work?
Look so catchy to be true.
Also do you have some fair value services to suggest when it comes to support/help in tax declaration?

  1. I am not sure why you ask this, as it’s all set out in the tax booklet.

    But nevertheless

Yes, but you can only deduct travel expenses for public transport unless you can show that you had to use a car/ other form of private transport

Yes, but within an upper limit per work day and taking any subventions by the employer into account.

You can do it yourself, it is very easy for people with “simple” situations (i.e. one job and a few bank accounts)

  2. You can deduct all debts you owe at the end of the year from your wealth tax, including temporary ones like credit card balances.
