Where are all the people saying he doesn’t have the right to wear the uniform?
Did I miss the story about his uncle doing the same?
Arguably the person who had the most “right” to wear a military uniform. But then this is about ceremony and not merit.
Regardless of the minutiae this is incredibly difficult for him, and others, who are mourning a family member and having to deal with protocol and tradition about who wears what, when, to which side, stands in a particular way and almost has no say in what they actually want to do…
I can already hear The Daily Mail and Dan Wootton tweeting their ‘anger’ at the news.
Harry has the right to wear a uniform. He served in the military and served two tours in Afghanistan, why the rest of them get to rummage around in the dressing up box is another matter.
Honestly, he should considering he served, and the only reason he couldn’t continue to serve? The media reporting his fucking location all of the time.
It’s amazing there’s such controversy over who wears what.
It matters not one fig to me if he wishes to wear a uniform, or dress up as a nun, or go stark bollock naked.
If it was your grams funeral, and you wanted to wear your uniform. More power to you, if the law says you can’t what are plod going to do? Arrest you at your grandma’s funeral?

He’s a pretty decent chap, in or out of uniform. Let the man dress as he wants.

I held higher rank than he did and was in far greater risk of death and injury than he ever was. Many of my friends died or were maimed. But I am not allowed to dress in uniform, so why should he, particularly after the way he has deserted his military duties and trashed this country? The man’s a disgrace.
Anyone know how they get the coffin into the uniform? Guess the same way as they get the figs into fig rolls😂
I’m not especially attached to the queen’s death, and frankly getting a tad sick of it, however, the fact Harry (a vet) was not allowed to wear his uniform was just insane to me.
Yet, Prince Edward who never made it past training can wear his “uniform”?
Phew, there’s a weight off my mind. Maybe I can sleep now.
Can’t stand this cuckold little ungrateful twat. But he’s perfectly entitled to wear his uniform having served and done tours.
