Labour will break tradition at its party conference next week by PLAYING the national anthem

  1. Perhaps a better use of all MPs time right now, would be to cancel the conference nonsense and just get back to work sorting out the endless list of problems we’ve got.

  2. Labour leader bows only 20.4° at the cenotaph instead of the required 20.7° and gets hauled over the coals by the historically-Nazi-supporting Daily Mail for being unpatriotic.

Labour plans to play quite literally the most patriotic song possible – the national anthem – at their party conference…and get hauled over the coals for patriotism??

  3. Labour still manages to get itself into pointless scandals because a minority of its membership is nuts.

There should be no issue with a party that aspires to be the next government of the United Kingdom playing the national anthem of the United Kingdom upon the death of the United Kingdom’s Head of State.

Why on earth would its members want to boo the anthem of the country they want their party to lead? It’s the same as when Starmer did a speech with the Union flag behind him and Labour Reddit and Labour twitter shat themselves that Starmer was ‘flag shagging’. Do they prefer these kinds of nonsense protests than they do winning power?

  4. First new monarch in 70 years, seems as good as time as any.

There should be no issue whatsoever when it comes to playing this countries anthem anyway.

  5. The fact that wooden starmer, is 10 points ahead, should give some idea about polls. What they are there for- manufacturing consent. Britain is so good at that. Its bout the only thing we cam manifacture
