  1. I have never heard of this one, but I’ve heard “nie jesteśmy w lesie/chlewie”

  2. In a town I lived in (and area nerby) people say “To są drzwi, nie zasłonki. Drzwi się zamyka” (“This is door, not a curtain. Door is supposed to be closed”) or “A w domu to masz drzwi czy zasłonki?” (“Do you have doors or curtains in your house?”). Also some people (especially teachers) would say that people who don’t close doors “have tails” (“mają ogony”). I don’t know if this is local or not, but I’ve never heard that phrase from a picture.

  3. I only heard people say “Mieszkasz w stodole? /W stodole cię chowali? ” (Do you live in a barn?)

  4. Pls can someone do what the parents in different countries say when seeing their child’s messy room. haha
    Poland:
    – Ale burdel! Jeszcze tu tylko >!nasrać!< na środku
    – Ale syf! Brudno tu jak w chlewie.

  5. I’ve heard “krowa ci drzwi zjadła?” (A cow ate your door?) several times

  6. I have never heard people say it about the tram. I had “ciągniesz za sobą ogon?

  7. “W stodole mieszkasz?” is more popular, at least around Szczecin

  8. Mieszkasz w tramwaju? U mnie się mówiło zawsze “a ty co, ogon masz??”.

  9. U mnie nigdy się nie używało tego o tramwaju.
    Za to:
    W namiocie się urodziłeś?
    W domu masz firankę?
    Za długi ogon?

  10. Polish one is bullshit. I’ve never heard this. It’s probably from some specific region.

  11. Never heard this one, and I’m used to say:
    – W dziupli mieszkasz?
    – Snopkiem zastanawiasz?

But my laziness must be growing with age and recently it’s limited to loud and clear:
    – Drzwi!

(usually without “expressive article” – _kurwa_)

    EDIT: fix typo

  12. It’s a first time I see “w tramwaju mieszkasz”, jakieś nowe musi🤔…
It was always “W stodole mieszkasz?!” and “Ogon masz?!”
But it is kind of logical, if somebody lives in a city with a tram line, then that person probably never was inside a barn🤷🏼‍♀️😂
(Edit: *somebody mixed Poland with Latvia and Estonia*)
