So all their measures are failing and the only thing they’re pushing is to find a way to keep landlords in the market.
Hmmm. Why am I’m guessing those measures won’t be, double CGT on any landlord selling up?
Hey anyone else remember last week or so when Darragh O’Brien was on the radio and wouldn’t answer questions about the targets but was all cocky and arrogant. And was insisting they were doing great. He’s a prick.
Falling short is a bit too complimentary. After a decade in power, failing miserably would be more accurate.
Housing Diaster not housing crisis.
All going according to the real/unstated plan, so.
Slides 7 and 10 are the most relevant ones, the quoted completions are near bang on with the expected number going to be falling just short, and it all down to the capacity.

> vacant commercial properties into residential homes.
This is a perfect example of their inaction, if memory serves me right I first heard of this back in 2016…almost 7 years ago now.
And to make things worse…this isn’t just some external body telling they’ll miss their targets…it’s their own officials. What a fucking shitshow.
Also…see you all in Dublin tomorrow!
Chinface knows the targets are bullshit. This housing for all bs will just be like those 10 year plans they produce for PR purposes. Rehashed nonsense that will never be completed , just the name changed every few years.
The Great Housing Famine of the 21st century.
I am going to the protest in Dublin tomorrow because I am fed up about Housing. I can’t move forward in my life. All my wages goes to extortionate rent. Please protest this. Let our voices be heard on it. Only token gestures will be made until people stop being apathetic and protest.
Oh my God. What a shock. Said fucking no one.
>They were told the objective of delivering 24,600 homes this year is on target.
That’s more than the 20,000 Sinn Féin were promising in their alternative budget.
**Surprised Pikachu face**
Shocked Pikachu face
More immigration will solve the problem.
5% is a bit worse than “falling short”
No shit.
Honestly, did anyone really expect them to follow through with their plan? They were never going to do it in earnest.
Was all for optics. So no surprise.
Falling short is an understatement
Another minister not meeting their targets, what ever shall we do with them. I know how about a nice 1000 euro raise I think they deserve it, unlike any of us who would be unceremoniously sacked for our ineptitude.
Shock shock
The independent helped create this disaster. We can never forgive them for this. By acting as the FFG mouthpiece they are traitors that belong in jail. They really are absolute cunts that are no better than the clown they are platforming.

The photo oozes Fianna Fáil though.
