Hello everyone. I am an AP Human Geography teacher, the class is basically why things are where they are. I prompted my students to ask questions to people in other countries as that is a big part of our next unit on Culture and am now trying to find people to answer said questions. If you are outside of the U.S. and interested in this brief survey, any response is wonderful.

The link is [here in a Google Form](https://forms.gle/ri76iErpsH5RGU5e9). No names or email addresses are collected.

Thank you!

  1. Hey u/Arialene !

I filled out the form and I have a couple of comments.

First, bravo, it’s a great idea.

To be fair I was a bit stumped on the school question because “How?” was a bit too open-ended, it would’ve helped had I had a bit more direction.

Additionally, I don’t know if posting on a country specific subreddit is a good idea, because you may not get the data variety you are looking for. May I suggest something like r/AskEurope for instance?

EDIT: If you have any further subquestions (and I believe you’ll be able to identify my response) feel free to DM me, I’ll be happy to respond.

  2. done 🙂 It would be cool if you could share the impressions from your students.

I am always amused by the difference in distance perception between me and my US/Canadian friends. 12 hours drive would take me from Zagreb to almost Berlin crossing through at least 4 different countries and then you could drive for 12 hours and still be in Texas
