Hahaha a parking ticket is cheaper than rich Luxembourgish person’s time and convenience. Not surprised so many speeding SUVs
Would be a shame if your keys slipped and ran across the side, or if your Vel’oh ran into it because of the lack of space ¯_(ツ)_/¯
There’s a bright yellow Mercedes G series with Albanian plates doing the same thing
what a fugly wrapping
Money cannot but taste a lesson Luxembourg has taught me.
At some point people will start slashing tires
thats Hollerich ,rue strasbuourg just behind the “park”?
maybe he just stopped for a sec while getting something 8D?
Looks like Dubai number plates
Dubai-ian here, how did one of these end up in Luxembourg?! 😄
Whose vehicle is it?
Ay that mfer also decided to just park right in the middle of rue notre dame yesterday, blocking traffic like a dumbass, and have a friendly chat with his lady friends. Stupid git.
Begging for keying?
Seen this idiot drive down grand rue too…
I see the same behaviour more and more frequently, even where I live and also with our beloved yellow plates.I strongly believe that these “offenders” don’t even realise they are doing anything wrong, but still if you dare to say something they “get offended”.I also don’t know what to do: some time ago a SUVidiot thought that his private parking space was the sidewalk under my bedroom window. I left him a note on the windshield, and the only thing I obtained was that now he parks 10 meters away, but still on the sidewalk and with many, many parking places available just 20 meters away.I agree that it is not a good idea to call the police, but I was wondering if using their application to send a photo could help. It is not an emergency, but if left unchecked it becomes the new normal.
A lot of drivers in the Gare seem to think sidewalks with no parking signs are perfectly acceptable parking spots. Luxembourg city in general really. I nearly got hit by a car parking on a sidewalk in Merl (where clearly you’re not allowed to park) because I turned my head to look at a shop not thinking that the empty sidewalk I had just been staring down might suddenly have a car on it. And the lady looked at me like I was the rude one!
I do most of my getting around by foot when I have the time since I like getting my steps in every day and I really am starting to lose my patience with drivers here. It’s a shame because it’s such a walkable city compared to other places I’ve lived.
no but i hope it gets them a better looking car 😭
why would you think the owner has a +1m followers on ig?
Makes me think of the #GCUM (garé comme une merde) hashtag in the francophone sphere
Must be sonething else. I don’t think Gaston Vogel has 1M followers.
