I’m American and some of my ancestors did come from Ireland. I am aware that I am American and not from Ireland.
I always laugh when I see someone who’s not European turn out to be like a 10% Irish.
Damn Irishmen, always shagging their way into all our family trees.
Always thought that attitude against Irish Americans was very mean spirited. Foolish too – it’s certainly no harm for us, politically and economically, if millions of Americans identify as Irish.
