intervention = stop the violence then go home with ability to enforce peace
invasion = stop the violence, create violence, remain on other people’s land, sitting on broken plastic deckchairs, eating your own bogies and digging your anoos as half a century passes, waiting for recognition lololol

cry about it
“Ayşe went on a vacation” and some eoka faggots cried, their grandsons still cry in comments.
Selam olsun Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’ne!
The majority of the “Turkish Cypriots” that I know, don’t call themselves “Turkish Cypriots”… They call themselves “Cypriots”.
I’ve been living in Cyprus for over 10 years, and have met many “random” Cypriots (Greek/Turkish/whatever name they want to have) and they are not against “Turkish Cypriots” but against the “Turks”.
A client of mine has 3 “Turkish Cypriots ” working for him for over 5 years. Another client had both “Greek & Turkish Cypriots ” working together without any problems. My wife’s grandfather lost his best man/Koumbaros because of the invasion (he was “Turkish Cypriot”.
I do believe there should be a solution that benefits both communities, there are many benefits for “The Cypriots”.
If someone wants to grab a beer (in Nicosia, either side) let me know. But the most important thing to keep in mind is the future.
number of people died for that shitty barren island is ridicilous
What this map doesn’t mention is that the green line was first established by UNFICYP in 1964, although it didn’t become a hard border until 1974 of course.
As a mainland Greek I would love to see Turkish troops and Turkish settlers leave Cyprus and for unification happen so that ALL Cypriots can have their land and peace back. And also the British to give back the land they occupy to the Cypriots. Enough is enough. 🧿
Sorry for being stupid but I really don’t understand. Great Britain had their forces on the island. Didn’t they have any obligations to defend Cyprus land since they have their bases on the island?
