If they are staying in Malta illegally, i think is common procedure.
The actual title of the article:
“25 foreigners arrested for staying in Malta without permits”
So the police found some people who were breaming the law and shockingly these people faced the consequences for breaking the law, according to the rules??
And on top of that it was **25** people???
Man, surely Malta is a fascist state now, how dare they follow the law /s
“en masse” lol
😂 Typical Reddit user title.
good, way too many illegals in malta
Finally. Go Malta
Malta is, geographically, one of the first ports for migrants coming up from Libya, so they’ve got more work on their hands compared to their resources than just about any other EU country.
The EUAA (european asylum administration) has been sending officers to support Maltese authorities and that’s *still* not enough.
So yeah, I’m just surprised they haven’t been doing that before…
25 people isn’t really *en masse*. Why did you change the title, OP?
Only rich migrants in Malta allowed
What?
Actual title: `25 foreigners arrested for staying in Malta without permits`
So illegals are getting deported. What’s the issue?
People break laws and are appropriately sanctioned for doing so? I like this Maltese way of doing things.
And?
Nothing wrong with enforcing the law. It’s about time
