Doesn’t the country need money before they can invest?
Rejoin SM and CU – do it with a fake nose if you need to but do that. That’s the only way.
Definitely an event planned before this weekend’s chaos
They’d have been better rescheduling this bland policy announcement for a time it might get some press attention and just holding a press call about the current tyre fire
It’s all anyone will want to ask her about
Side note: I have realised recently that what I was calling ‘Hunger’ is actually ‘Food envy’ and that I have been indulging in the politics of envy.
Install solar panels on all council owned buildings, give free energy to the occupiers and sell the excess for profit.
This is fantastic.
The government is able to generate capital very easily for one off set up costs, but cant sustain excess maintenance costs without tax rises or cuts to services. Businesses cant generate the one off capitol, but can generate funds for maintenance and profit well.
Its great to see a pragmatic joining of forces on this.
This should have happened when we started extracting north sea oil but Thatcher absolutely pissed all that money away instead
This is a good thing of course, but it’s frustrating we always have to wait until these strategies are so blindingly obvious we can’t ignore them anymore before proposing action. Doing this 20 years ago (when it was only slightly obvious) would have been so good for the country. Britain is good at producing educated people, scientists, engineers, etc. We could have been ahead of the game and supplying the world with green solutions right now.
Please make a facility to produce and repair / recycle solar panels.
Huge opportunity to cover every building and car park in them
