It’s strange to me that people give such trite answers to complex issues. It’s as if one side is completely right and the other side utterly nonsensical.
Why can there not be an acknowledgement that there are issues that come with mass waves of illegal immigration but also that some of the fears tied to illegal immigration are untrue and dehumanizing?
We need more open, long form, intelligent conversation not focused on clicks and social media likes. Then we can maybe all learn something and solve problems.
