The worst part is that if the sidewalk is wide enough it’s completely legal (although it seems that he is blocking other cars, can’t really tell from this picture). Parking regulations are generally poorly written and really enforced.
I think parking on the sidewalk should only be allowed in designated spots.
parking in Poland and regulations is made by monkeys. 0 logic, big cities are just one big parking lot. blocking roads, cycling paths, nobody cares. pure apathy.

Don’t beat yourself up! I like driving in Poland because I know I can always find parking, because I can just put my car wherever it fits. It doesn’t even have to be a parking space. It’s great!
It’s better than Ottawa, but that’s a pretty low bar and you’re doing much better.
Also, I can bike anywhere. or walk. So you’ve got that going for you.
You must see how the Greek parking looks like.

Currently in Poland and what can I say…. the roundabouts at free way offramps are tiny. The are no yellow boxes! The street markings are confusing as they recently changed some rules. Pedestrians do not check for oncoming traffic and waltz into the zebra crossings because the legislative law will stop the physics. Freeways also suck big time: you can’t rejoin the opposite side of the freeway in many places.
You shouldn’t expect too much from somebody who bought a fucking Renegade
