  1. Life has become so much more bearable since I’ve admitted to myself that I’ll never get married or own a home in a nice safe area. It’s much easier worrying about feeding and clothing myself then worrying endlessly about other souls. Can’t begin to imagine how families are feeling now

  2. NHS worker here, the current “payrise” we have has resulted in me taking £40 less home a month, as it’s bumped me up a pension bracket… At least I’ve got the memory of people bashing pans to get me through the winter.

  3. It’s actually fascinating to be part of the last generation of capitalism – watching it’s death throes as it collapses

Goodbye, you shit worthless pile of crap.

  4. What was transparently obvious when truss and sunak were competing for the leadership, I did not once – not once hear what their plans were to help the working class and the poorest of our society

Now she has come up with this BS about trickle-down economics and trying to sell it as if it’s going to do some good

Regan started all this crap decades ago when he was president of the US and it has NEVER worked and it never will and his policies were the starting stone of the abysmal system that is in place today

I honestly cannot understand why people in the same lifestyle as myself vote these horrid people into government

This is 12 years of these morons in power and more and more people are in poverty because of their policies.

The Tories don’t now, never have and never, ever will care about the biggest/largest demographic voters in the UK and STILL they keep getting voted in time and time again!

  5. Liz Truss the absolute fucking div wants the UK to become exactly like America. Rampant free market capitalism with an ultra rich class who allow the country to appear economically prosperous on paper while having vast swathes of festering poverty at the bottom. This is what she’s hunting for and what a lot of fucking Tory cunts want.

Fuck Tories. Every year worse and worse and worse.

  6. I’m not following, how will they be paying more tax?
And if we’re talking about the effects of fiscal drag, then it feels kind of unreasonable to not mention that bankers have faced years of tax increases because the tax bands (above the personal allowance) haven’t been adjusted for inflation.

  7. Tories won’t be happy until the NHS has been converted entirely to private health care and we have a diabolical US style system. They won’t be happy until they’ve ruined education so only the privileged can buy education.

    They fucking disgust me.

  8. How to cause a revolution speedrun ? I dont really care about politics or anything really but even i am thinking fuck it , not much else to lose anymore .

  9. Teachers and nurses? Surely this affects everybody? Except the highest earners, of course.

  10. Well Liz Truss didn’t need to take nurses and teachers wages into account – they weren’t going to be voting for her to win the party leadership and therefore the post of PM. She only really had to sell the idea to the old and wealthy within Conservative Party membership, who lapped up the possibility of getting more wealthy.
