CYPRUS ELECTIONS: Υπαρχει και η επιλογή να ΜΗΝ ψηφίσουμε τους 3 που μας βομβαρδιζουν τα καναλια … αλλά τα πρόβατα τους αρέσει να πηγαίνουν για σφαγή : ( Αν δεν αλλάξει κάτι ριζικά, τότε είναι Game Over για την Κύπρο … η μήπως είναι ήδη αργα?

  1. I’m probably voting either Christodoulides or Mavroyiannis tbh. Kolokasides is okay too, but he doesn’t want any party support, so he has no chance.

    Also I don’t like Christofides, the way he talks basically.

  3. Realistically, without any of the major parties support, the other candidates will unfortunately not be allowed to change anything. The President is not a dictator who can implement and change laws for example without any approval from the House of Representatives. So, how would Christofides affect real change if he has absolutely no allies in the House or in the political realm overall? He will most likely waste most of his first term accusing others of not supporting him or disagreeing with them and continuously arriving at dead ends. That’s how the system works which is why it’s not easy to change status quos. You are required to have “friends” and Christofides, who always belittles the rest and calls them useless, will surely not be welcomed at any tables. He surely wants to change things and he absolutely would if he could play the game, but i think he wants to change the rules and that is simply not how this works. I am not an expert btw, but that is my interpretation of the political process.
