  1. A bit of context after watching the video.

The reporter says that 17 employees lost their lives.

[This](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-39627920) BBC article, and a memorial say that it was 12. I would expect the other 5 were UDR reservists, and their job was incidental.

Four of those who died did so in a bomb on Bloody Friday.

The IRA shot a (protestant) conductor after witnessing a hijacking (01/72)

The UDA threw a hand grenade into a bus killing the driver (Catholic) (02/73)

The UVF shot a (Catholic) driver (03/73)

The UDA shot and killed a driver (protestant) during the strikes (05/77)

Nice quote from the head of the NI Tourist Board (former rupert)

    >If you really like to travel, and you don’t want to get pushed around by all different coloured people

Several Irish bus drivers/workers were killed in Dublin by loyalist bombs in the early 70s

  2. The woman who was cagey about answering the door must have really good camera equipment set up inside the house to film her opening the 72 bolt locks to let the reporter in… it Almost seems like she knew he was coming 😱

  3. “How can a race with such tenacity, fail to solve its problems”…. !!! Problems caused solely by the race making this documentary … seems a lot of shite was acceptable on tv in the 70’s!
