Cocaine use in the UK parliament is hardly a secret.
I’ve seen a couple of interviews with Raab where it’s been pretty obvious.
Decriminalise it then. I don’t care that they’re using it, I just want to be able to use it without penalty.
All these poor people honking all the good gear that could be going to hardworking parliamentarians who spend literally tens of minutes each day representing their constituents in between consultancy jobs.
Of course he has. There is only so much room in the media and having competing headlines makes it harder for people to search the internet for articles about drug use in parliament.
Does no one remember the odd comments Bojo made about making model buses. That was another one of his Google search result manipulations.
Many years ago a mate of mine did coke at a party with an Australian MP and they used her parliamentary access swipe card to chop it up!
She’s gone on to have a highly successful career.
Drug use is pretty rife in Australia.

Sunak referred to himself as a “coke addict” recently, but it’s alleged he was talking about Coca-Cola.

This is going to strengthen the whole one rule for them and one rule for us line if nothing gets done about this.
Makes sense. The self confidence these guys maintain while driving the country into the floor could only be explained by the fact that they’re on cocaine.
Maybe this is why the war on drugs has been failing for 50 years. They don’t want to actually cut the supply lines because then they’d lose their own supply. Makes much more sense to focus on small-time street dealers and users since that won’t impact the Cokehead Elite.
This country is in a right state since Boris took over from Theresa. Having lived in the UK all my life I’ve never felt nervous of the government until now. Usually you see corrupt countries on the news etc and think ‘it must be awful to live in a country like that’ but now I’m starting to experience those feelings of fear for myself and I don’t know if eventually the current lot will have taken enough money out of the country for themselves and be satisfied then step aside so hopefully somebody with morals and a bit of integrity can take over and the country stabalises again or if this is the start of the UK descending into tyranny where opposition leaders are locked up or worse which is really scary to be thinking this could actually be a possibility. But it must be hard for people to raise their kids atm to be decent folk with a good moral conscience and empathy for their fellow man when these are the people who we have running the country it just makes a mockery of society
It’s obviously not to stop people using drugs but to fuck over poor people.

This will just make ministers smile. They love to troll people, and the more audacious and nakedly hypocritical the trolling, the more they love it because the more it reminds them they can get away with anything.
In fact, I suspect that the one and only skill that is needed as a Tory minister is taking the piss with a straight face. Boris is a master of it. Priti Patel barely manages the straight face bit, so she’ll never be pm. If you can do that well, your Tory mates will give you a bump up, laughing their arse off at how you give them a jolly good chuckle at the expense of the libs and the plebs. That’s the promotion criteria.
Once you see it, you will see it in every statement, interview, commons speech they ever make.

Just a desperate play to the Tory traditionals – clamping down on drugs always goes down well with the Express mob. Even more cynical if they knew this latest article was being published. Bojo, Raab, Patel, Truss – they’re like teachers who aren’t really meant to teach, have zero understanding of how humans work, have lost control of the class, and just blurt out weirder attempts at punishment.
There are plenty of areas where the justice system is really fucking broken – eg, less than 2% of reported rapes are prosecuted in the latest full stats (2020). Rape Crisis estimates only 15% of sexual violence cases get reported. How far do we have to go to effectively decriminalise sexual assault? Are we there yet?
But anything real requires more than just photo-ops to resolve, so it won’t get done.
Why is there a bar in the house of commons to start off with?! We are paying these fuckers to have a pint ?!
