Jeremy Corbyn: Tory economic plan is irresponsible

  1. Britain had a once in a lifetime opportunity to elect a Labour government under Corbyn. The policies he would have enacted would have made Britain stand tall amongst the world, not be the current basket case for all to shake their heads at. An Opportunity we’ll never have again so well done Tory voters.

  2. While Corbyn had good (from my view, others won’t agree) domestic policies his foreign policy would have seen the UK reduced on the world stage. He’s not willing to make the right decisions which sometimes leads to violence

Don’t take this as me saying what the Tory government is right, their current domestic policies are destroying the country but if Ukraine happened under Corbyn it would be part of Russia now.

  3. Now Starmer has the hardest decision of all; does he agree with the Tory plan to own the Corbynites, or does he disagree with the Tory plan and risk being called a Corbynista by the media?

  4. “The Islington North MP was leader of the Labour party from 2015 to April 2020 but was suspended from the party in October 2020 over his reaction to a highly critical report about anti-Semitism in the party under his leadership.”

Do they refer to Boris as the first criminal PM?

  5. The UK is very close to being classed as an ’emerging market economy’ after 10 years of Tory rule.

The UK. Once the most powerful and richest country in the world.

    Need I say more.

  6. Jeremy Corbyn is being interviewed by Nick Robinson at 5pm on BBC Radio Four. Should be interesting…..

  7. For anyone who hasn’t seen #labourfiles it’s available on YT. I recommend watching it at 1.5x

Edit: I should point out that Aljazeera is owned by the government of Qatar (one of those shitty governments that has never really cared about human rights), so I would take what they publish with a pinch of salt, but I still regard it fairer than most UK media including BBC which is our government’s mouth piece.

  8. Ahead of his time, and unfortunately vilified and besmirched by the right wing press and msm.

I voted for this guy. Shame the electorate didnt.

  9. Fuck the UK electorate. We collectively deserve what we’re getting right now. Morons that didn’t vote lab/ at all – I’m looking at you. TLP as a whole sucks, but the opportunity to have a leader with integrity really was wasted. Could have made such a difference.

  10. I voted for Labour while Corbyn was in charge but he has this weird political reverse Midas touch. I often agree with the point he’s making but wish he wasn’t the one making it because he gets such a backlash that it almost seems to do more harm than good to the cause. Same with Tony Blair.

  11. Tomorrow’s newspapers. ” The devil says Conservative plan is bad. Join Conservative party now to save our country. God save the King!”

  12. Cast your mind back a few years to when Corbyn was relevant. If he’d have suggested a plan with as much borrowing as Liz Truss”s he’d have been laughed out of London.

  13. No shit, we have fucking malicious morons running the country now

At least Corbyn was principled even though I didn’t agree with everything he did (leave for example)

  14. well, of course tories are irresponsible. they are incapable of either competence or responsibility.

they dont have the pattern recognition or capacity for delayed gratification that is needed to make long term constructive plans let alone ability to recognise past mistakes.

i honestly wonder if they are actually sentient.

  15. Lets just say it for all time that ANY plan from British Tories and American Republicans is a bad one for anyone but the .1% in the investment class.

They aren’t even pretending to care about anyone else any more.
