I took this photo on my phone while walking home from a friends house (Tromsø). As long as there are cøear skies you can see it frim whereever. If ypu want spectacular sights, go on one of the mny northern lights tours. If you are renting a car, look at the weather forecast near where you are staying.
Even when conditions are horrible where you are staying, you can probably see the sights nearby.
If you are one of the unlucky ones, there are other things too experience in this wonderous country rhan some green lights in the sky!

Basically, visiting Tromsø im December is a good idea right? I haven’t decided if I should buy the tickets.
now watch as all of them are going to ask for weather reports for the next few months instead of just going for it and hope they are lucky.
