are most sex workers going to have links to organised crime?
Strange headline. Is a prostitute having links to organised crime note worthy?
From reading the article, it appears the board have an issue with the police officer using a sex worker, full stop.
It appears he used the sex worker, then reported it himself to his supervisor when he realised she had links to organised crime.
He was struck off because ‘police should know sex workers may be linked to organised crime’ and ‘the public would be shocked to think police officers are using sex workers’
I’d personally never use the services of a sex worker, but the country is becoming more sex positive and more law abiding citizens are becoming escorts legally. Should police officers who use these services be fired?
Prostitution isn’t illegal in the UK. So all a bit odd.
