In comparison to similar buildings in Moscow, the Warsaw PKiN has the best proportions. Moscow buildings were victims of communist party comrades megalomania, which turned them into grotesque.
Między Bułkami does a nice burger right beside you there
That is literally the tower from ghostbusters
I like it actually. Looks like a huge, multi-stage rocket with four boosters.
People keep on complaining about this building but anybody in Warsaw is yet to build something of a landmark for Warsaw
its looking right at us.
In the late 90’s my friend and I bribed a security guard to let us up to the observation deck ahead of the tourists and school groups. Back than that was common, he low key bribes, “pan w uniformie” and “winda na drugim pietrze” i jest gitara.
I like this building. Sure it was built by the oppressors but it became a symbol of Warsaw and Poland overtime
It’s a fantastic building, I don’t care politically how I’m supposed to feel about it, I love it. It feels like walking around Gotham city when I see the Palace of Culture!
Hotel Polonia?
I’ll be the brave one.

I see lights on. Not like we have some kind of crisis. Just keep on smiling.
On the serious side even though I don’t really like Warsaw I must admit this building is an icon. We have one in Katowice also – it’s called Spodek and its the ugliest thing ever built. Especially viewed from the top.
The cursed Soviet wedding cake
Is this an attempt at the Ukrainian flag?
Ps. It’s upsidedown
It goes to Minas Morgul mode when the lights are green

I know it’s hated but it’s such a great landmark.
That’s what she said
