My pharmacist wanted to give me my contraceptive for free the other day, asked for my PPS nr and everything! Told him Im 31 and dont qualify and he nearly fell over! He genuinely thought I was under 25, took the compliment paid my €9.75 and left with a smile. I still dont qualify even with the new limits but hey ho, I’ve been paying for contraceptive since I was 17. So Im used to it I guess.
*Cue outraged Catholic noises*
Would be great for older women too who have finished having kids. I’m more scared of getting pregnant later in life than I was as a teen, and I know that’s a common sentiment.
