Nearly 2 decades ago I watched a film called Blossi/810551 on the Canadian broadcast channel, Showcase. This is an Icelandic film and has been an absolute pain to locate. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a DVD/VHS of this film. Has anyone else seen or heard of it? I’ve been searching for YEARS for this film, with no luck what-so-ever. Any leads on where I could watch this film again would be appreciated!

Have you tried your local Blockbuster video?
I had never heard of this film before so I did a little research and I found that this movie is incredibly rare, there were no dvd’s made and only a few vhs’s.
But it was shown on rúv in 2016 and apparently some people recorded it as it was on youtube for a while but has since been taken down but there could still be a recording of it floating around somewhere.
Try the libraries, especially the big ones
Three libraries in Iceland have it on VHS, but I guess you have to convert that to digital, or convince someone to do it for you.

It’s a shame how hard it is to find and watch Icelandic movies. It might be on deildu.net where you could dl it.
