Norway has truly blessed me with it’s unimaginable beauty… Norwegians also were super friendly and helpful… definitely this country is heaven on earth… just one thing, the prices were a little too high. Cheers Norwegians 🙏🏼🙏🏼

  1. Maybe in the future the Krone will be stronger then it will seem even more expensive. The Krone is down 25% against the USD over the last year.

  2. The thing is, in Norway the prices is higher, BUT the salaries is also higher so it is not that expensive to live in Norway for people who work there. some from Norwegians even drive to Sweden to buy thing cheaper and then they does not need to earn much at all.

  3. There’s an old saying in the deeep south about hospitality:

“If you’re white, you’re all right, if you’re brown,, stick around…You’re black, get back”…

“As a white visitor with money, all are welcome until they are broke.

“Whale meat is intelligent food for intelligent people”

what is underneath the surface in the culture of my countrymen mine would make everything from Ibsen to Hamsun, Kielland & Lie drier than a sand storm in Sahara and them all weep.

We live and die by the immortal laws of Janteloven.

Brown cheese is overrated .btw.. So is Lutefisk. I’d rather have a pint of Guinness.

Nothing beat my grandma’s Kjøttkaker, or Skillingsboller from Baker [Bruu ](https://Brun.in)from my birth town Bergen. Just so that be said.

Underneath it all, we are quite good at heart….dig deep enough our glazed and dazed eyes staring mindless into our mobile gadgets as if our lives depended on it to make time tic one moment closer to our mandatory weekend binge…Even that crazy uncle Stutum from where the buses don’t run with an affection for sheep if he gets to win the lottery every once in a while.

Consider the picture of Prekestolen and happy campers our timeshare selling point.

  4. I know, but living here and getting a norwegian paycheck really helps. When we go abroad, everything seems cheap 🙂

  5. 100% agreed. I’ve traveled a lot in my life and Norway was the most beautiful country in the world. Pictures don’t come close to capturing its beauty.
