Berlin not ruling out possible attack on Nord Stream pipeline.

  1. >Russia also isn’t ruling out the possibility it was sabotage. “No option can be ruled out right now,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said when asked if sabotage could be the reason for the pressure drop.

    Yeah…Sure

  2. What peopele don‘t appreaciate is that both pipelines did not actually deliver any gas. Nordstream 2 never did, Nordstream 1 was shut off by Russia about a month ago.

So as for speculation about who did it, the only country profiting from it is Russia. They have been using energy as a weapon even befire the war started. They aim to disrupt European teust in energy, and energy markets. It is also a demonstration of power, and the implied threat that they may target other pipelines next (e.g. thr new Norway—Poland one), or other undersea infrastructure such as cables.

Since the pipelines were already defunct, actual gas delivieries to Germany haven‘t changed, and their gas stores are now at 91%. It also means that for US, Poland, Ukraine and other countries who didn‘t like Nordstream, there was no point in attacking a pipeline that doesn‘t deliver any gas.

  3. The fact that Radek Sikorski, former Polish foreign minister, is providing every left-wing tankie and German nationalist here with free propaganda material against the US and further Ukraine aid on Twitter for the next few months, without having any evidence and taking Biden’s statements out of context, is not very helpful either…

  4. This is Casus Belli for declaration of war against perpetrators.

Waiting for analysis and forensics to determine who did this.
