Look you lot ever since the budget has been announced that’s all I’ve heard. It’s a gamble yes but all we can do is wait and see. Anyway this left wing doom mongering is probably doing more damage.
they’re betting on it they’re gunna make a lot of money: they know exactly what they have done. and these ‘experts’ know it so why is it not being reported as such i dont understand, can they be sued for defamation if they spoke bluntly ??
Not seen a single article or video that says this is a good idea – maybe the Torygraph or Express will be championing this?
Sad truth is we’re a dead Empire fading into obscurity. Our economic and political power is nearing zero… RIP

Last time we had parity with the dollar, Thatcher implemented the foundation of our economic collapse, Privatisation, saying that would “stimulate growth” too.
It must be remembered that when Tories speak of Growth, it is only **ever** in terms of others’ wealth, not ours or our Country’s.
Fear from people with common sense at least. The Tories think articles like this are just talking the country down and that everything will be fine. Experts strongly disagree but we know from past experience that the Tories dismiss experts with casual disregard. Truss is making one hell of a gamble but is too oblivious to realise just how bad this could all go.
It’s like what’s happening to Britain is all the things they fearmongered about when it looked like Jeremy Corbyn might have a chance at becoming leader with a relatively left wing manifesto. It’s like someone is in charge of playing the consequences into the world of the actions that have been taken and they were informed that Jeremy Corbyn was elected leader and played in all the chaos and destruction his opponents said there would be, before being told that it was just leader of the Labour Party he was elected as.
