  1. It is possible with an experienced guide 🙂

    If you are in fact in good shape, and used to rough hiking it will be ok. Estimated time for the hike is between 7-12 hours, depending on where you start. It is also classified as an “extra demanding” hike. Check out http://www.trolltunga.com if you haven’t already.

    I have lived in California, and their idea of being “in pretty decent shape” was quite different from mine.
    I.e my “amateur snowboarding skills” turned out to be of olympic quality compared to their “great snowboarding skills”. So if it is doable really depends on your shape.
