  1. The worst part of the article is this:

    >De Antwerpse burgemeester benadrukte dat de afgelopen weken al 37 jongeren werden opgepakt op verdenking van betrokkenheid bij aanslagen en schietpartijen die toegeschreven worden aan drugsbendes. Veel van die arrestanten hebben hetzelfde profiel, zegt De Wever. “Drie vierde van die mensen komt uit Nederland. Dat zijn mensen in de leeftijdscategorie tussen 18 en 25 jaar, maar ook minderjarigen.”

He says this as an accomplishment. “Look how many people we’ve arrested”.

Meanwhile, I see this statement as a tragedy. That’s 37 young people who are extremely unlikely to have any sort of meaningful position in the drug gang. They’re “runners” who do the dirty work. But they’re also the ones on the frontlines in danger and at risk of being caught.

These young people’s lives are now ruined. While the actual working of the drug gang isn’t affected at all. The drug gang will always find more young people like that who they can entice with a few thousand euro.

So the actual leadership of the drug gang is unaffected while they keep ruining lives. And then De Wever goes out and boasts about how many young people they’ve arrested.

De Wever is too smart to be unaware that his war on drugs doesn’t and will never achieve the results he wants. He has to know it will always fail. So at this point, he’s more than willing of ruining young people’s lives for his electoral gain by fearmongering about drugs.

    Fucking asshole

  2. Something bad happening in Belgium = say it is predictable
Easy way to be a visioenair.
Within now and 10 years I’ll predict at least a terrorist attack somewhere in Europe.
When bad news happens, Bart just needs to comment at the end ‘Predictable’ and then you get automatic NVA votes for being Nostradamus.
