I have an urgent question for anyone who has knowledge in kansallsipuku.
There are two versions of the Viipuri kansallsipuku.
[The old one here](https://kansallispuvussa.com/viipuri-vanha/)
[And the new one here](https://imgur.com/a/9k2GoC3)
My question is about the head piece. The black headwear on the newer Viipuri outfit is called the pinteli, similar to a Karelian perväskä. However, it has no historical basis to the area and only showed up in drawings around the 1860s, from what I had read.
My question- is it wrong to wear this item when wearing the kansallsipuku? ** Is the old Viipuri outfit considered the more accurate/accepted one?**
I believe I have an ancestor or two who migrated to Viipuri/Antrea/Jääski, so I was wondering what the national dresses looked like there.
I also notice that in some kansallispuvut, the pointed shoes are present, but other times only black shoes are worn. Is there some type of tradition with this, where only certain areas wore them and others did not?
(I am not sure what the Finnish word is for the pointed shoes, but in Karelian it is upokkaat, and Northern Sámi it is gapmagat)
Kiitos

You’re asking very specific questions that I don’t think you’ll find an answer for on reddit. [Kansallispuvut.fi](http://www.kansallispuvut.fi/) is a website dedicated to national dresses where you can find information on outfits from different regions. On facebook there is [a group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/kansallispuku/) for national dresses, they might know better.
As far as I know, pointy shoes go by many names and shapes. Those which I have heard of are lapikkaat and [pieksut](https://www.finna.fi/Record/skm.158567410634400) for bigger ones and supikkaat, [lipokkaat](https://www.finna.fi/Record/skm.158567334236600) and tanhut for smaller ones.
Those dresses were developed during late 1800’s from earlier dresses (“muinaispuku”). If it is in drawings of 1860’s, it’s as authentic kansallispuku as it can be..
