Title. This video focuses almost entirely on its depiction in the video game Civ 6, but I think it’s an interesting discussion nonetheless. Germany in most games is depicted as a warmonger, which is unfair considering how much of an enormous impact Germany has had on the Arts, culture and Philosophy.
In Civ 6, despite most of Germany’s abilities being military related, it does at least appreciate the country’s industrial prowess in history… but that might not be entirely historically accurate either.
Sorry if this isn’t the place to post something related to video games, but I thought it was an interesting discussion point nonetheless!

It is very obvious that CIV is not trying for any degree of historical accuracy.
