Legitimately reminded me of that hotel in The Last of Us after playing through the remaster lately, also with it’s trailer today the show could’ve saved money by just filming here by the looks of it. Fair bad though if there’s a building that wouldn’t look out of place in a post apocolypse.
I remember when I was about 14 me and a few mates broke into the long abandoned [Ambassador Hotel in Kill Village](https://www.leinsterleader.ie/resizer/-1/-1/true/GN4_DAT_7154295.jpg–.jpg). It was very similar to this. There was an old bathtub dragged into the hallway and we rode it down some stairs (filled it with a bunch of old linen and made a pile of linen at the bottom of the stairs). The joys of youth.

We were the last wedding in that hotel, closed the day after we were married back in 2006.

Ah man I was there a few times when I was younger. Watched the 1994 World Cup game vs Norway, learned to drive on the beach, played the local golf course and generally toured the area. Shame to see it lying about.
PS: apart from being abandoned and left to ruin for whatever reason most of the damage was probably done by Belfasts finest scum. Dmore hoods UTH, Divismore in the whiterock estate. Hoods-car thieves UTH-up the hoods. 2:35 mins the leisure centre suite.

I had a driving lesson on that beach back in 2011, great memories. Never realized that hotel was abandoned though I didn’t see anyone go in and out of it. Tbh thought more about that shipwreck than the hotel.

Used to do my Gaeltacht up in Gaoith Dobhair. Beautiful part of the world. I’ve been in that hotel numerous times.
I just kept thinking that’s some amount of money sitting around furniture wise if only I had a van my house would have a fancy abandoned hotel motif.
I can only think how many people could live there in this crisis lol

That video crew on the beach looked like they were pointing towards the hotel. Imagine the ghost stories the cameraman could start of a young, ghostly pale lad staring forlornly out of one of the bedroom windows 😂
