If you think that’s bad you should see mine. The potholer visits twice a year and inevitably destroys it more. Meanwhile every back road around us has been resurfaced in the last two years.

In Ireland we have 22.87 km of paved road per 1,000 people, the EU average is 9 km.
Maintaining roads costs money, are you willing to pay more Tax for an acceptable level of maintenance ?

Anyone else notice the manicured hedgerow? And what about the pristine grass verge. The road may be shite but you only see edging like that in horsey Kildare
