It’s not a bad idea. But this has to go hand in hand with political education.
This is ironic cause in my experience teens especially teen boys in particular are way more likely to be radical right wingers
No wonder they want that when most of youth is liberal.
How does a 16 year old have the maturity to decide on complex and often obscure governmental policy. The voting age should be increased to 21 rather than being decreased. Extended adolescence makes it so an 18 year old today doesn’t have the maturity of an 18 year old of the past. Who the heck looks at a hormone crazed teen doing Fortnite dances and who still has to ask mom to drop him off at his friend’s house and says…yeah you’re capable to decide the fate of our nation.
