After spending so much time on this site, where the majority of articles about police involve those in the US pulling one insane stunt after another and never getting any proper justice for it (case in point, just today there was news that a kidnapped girl was shot and killed by police because she was running *towards* the police seeking safety), it’s nice to remember that there are still some places that they don’t just get a carte blanche and do in fact need to justify their actions or face justice, like in our little country.
Mind, I don’t know if the police acted wrong in this situation, as that’s the purpose of this second investigation, but it’s nice to find some comfort in the knowledge that such an investigation even happens.
Hope the officers involved are okay.
