The USD is gaining on most currencies, including Euro, GBP, CAD…
I don’t know why exactly,.what is happening and if it will go back down.
Maybe someone in economics or finance could give more information.

You can look up the dollar “milk shake theory” as a possible explanation. USD strength has been discussed for a few years now and it looks like we’re on the brink of a currency crisis.
PLN is the strongest European currency ofc
I’ve heard that USD is being traded more nowadays while nations are using Euro less for payments. Just shows when countries panic they default to USD as a safe and proven currency. Also feds just increased rates and they have plans to increase again in December.
USA inflation is our inflation but it hits us harder much harder.
All thanks to USD made inflation and being the only accepted currencies mostly
It’s funny, every major currency is ~ 5 PLN today.
USD – 5.04
EUR – 4.82
GBP – 5.32
CHF – 5.09

Euro is falling because of pressure by energy prices. Since zloty is pegged to euro( within a corridor) – zloty is falling against the dollar.
US dollar gets stronger. Every other currency got cheaper comparing to USD. I don’t know why though.
