Tv Remote Troubles

  1. I have no idea where else to post this but I need help getting my new one for all tv remote to work with my Saorview box from 2012.
I can’t use the buttons on my tv because there’s only the up and down buttons, no ok or enter buttons either.
I’m could really use some guidance from one of y’all 🥲

  2. One for all remotes I had in the past had a learning mode. Anything about that in the manual that you’ve totally already read cover to cover?

  3. Not a huge help but I did manage to programme a similar one for a saorview box – sort of. Mine had an extra row of buttons for TV/Sat/Vid/Ext etc but even when I did figure out the pressing, pausing etc the buttons didn’t correspond to the function. E.g. the volume buttons changed channels, the left/right ones were for volume and so on. By retuning several times I got it to work pretty well in the end but it still couldn’t do everything.

Most important thing I did was to **disconnect the tv from power completely** because the remote searching for it each time rather than the saorview box. If it only has the box to work on you might get somewhere. Good luck

  4. This Search Method allows you to find the code for your device by scanning through all the codes contained in the memory of the ONE FOR ALL remote. The Search Method may also work if your brand is not listed at all.

    1. Switch on your Saorview box (not on standby).

    2. Press and hold down the SETUP key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).

    3. Press 9 9 1. The red LED will blink twice.

    4. Next, press POWER.

    5. Aim the ONE FOR ALL remote at your Saorview box. Now press CH+ over and over, until your Saorview box turns off (everytime you press the CH+ key the ONE FOR ALL remote will send out a POWER signal from the next code contained in the memory). You may have to press this key many times (up to 150 times).

    6. As soon as your Saorview box turns off, press the SETUP key to store the code.
