I dunno, it kind of seems like it is

Society needs to stop pushing and normalising infidelity or things like this will continue to happen.
A shame to see it play out like that. We can condemn everyone involved all we want, but until we’re in a situation like this, none of us can say for sure what we’d do.
I’d like to think, if I were the husband here, I’d be able to keep my cool enough to get my phone out and record some good solid evidence.
That could then be used as leverage in the divorce; let’s make a nice deal and I don’t have to send these photos/videos to all your friends and family.
Then I’d send it anyway.
Can’t wait for the:
> Six months in prison, suspended.
> I will never be able to fully trust anyone again.
Says the person in her neighbours bed,
Suddenly one was “remorseful” later on: hopefully, the offender is jailed for a few years and made an example of = no excuse for such behaviour.
I hear it was the second time she’s been pummelled in the face that evening.

When did this subreddit get taken over by incels? If you really think she deserved to get physically attacked for this you’re fucked in the head on some level

This is quite a weird article, don’t get me wrong, it’s terrible for those involved but it seems odd to give it so much space in a national newspaper. There’s a lot of detail too, full names of the defence etc. Seems odd to me.

I’d like to see many of these commentators up in front of a judge defending themselves it would make an amazing reality tv show. Watch the worldes greatest defenses such as
“But judge its justified for me to smash someones face in and break the law because my property had relations with someone else “
He was jealous because he wanted to be in bed with his neighbour.
Some of you have these really weird blinders on when it comes to cheating that makes you think you know everything about someone’s life and that actual physical violence is a justified response to catching your partner cheating. If he reacted like this what’s to say he wasn’t a violent scumbag the whole time?
Adultery used to carry the death sentence here 200 years ago and public whipping about 100 years ago or something.
Adultery is disgusting and the British have pretty much normalised it. There is no shame any longer.
People love blaming immigrants for society, but truth is morality is going back in time.
What in the actual fuck are these comments.
A (light) slap after someone cheats on you? Yeah, that’s understandable.
Beating her to the point her entire face swells up? There is no need for that, at all. He did not “lose control” any more than any domestic abuser “loses control”. They are in control the entire time and consciously intend to hurt someone.
You don’t get free reign to do whatever you want to someone just because they cheated on you. Frankly quite a few victims of domestic abuse cheat on their abusers just so they can finally feel love and affection from someone else.
I’m honestly taken aback and disgusted by these comments. And before it comes, yes I would be saying exactly the same if the genders were swapped.
Cheating wrecks lives, relationships, and families. It’s corrosive and damages people’s physical and mental health. It’s an awful thing to do and shouldn’t be looked on as harmless or fun at all.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. The neighbour’s partner already told your man for you to stay away from the house after leaving at half 4 one morning, now what are you doing in the guy’s bed?
It wasn’t good enough from the husband, he lost his head now he’s going to lose his kid, but I totally understand.
Very depressing comments section.
The weird psychotic violent dreams people have about “what they’d do” if someone “deserved it” and feeling justified in their actions. Absolute scumbags.
This is never justified, ever. If you think it is it doesn’t make you a “hard man” it makes you a pathetic deranged psycho.

I’m somewhat concerned by the amount of people trying to justify quite a nasty assault on somebody who clearly posed no threat to their assailant. Yes, it is horrible to cheat on somebody and yes, if that is indeed what this woman was doing she was wrong to do it, however that absolutely does not justify then assaulting her at all.
If the woman had found the man cheating 90% of comments would be ‘Yay slay kween’ ‘he deserved it’.
Not a fan of violence male or female, equally not a fan of ‘infidelity’ . Neither are productive or useful for future relationships.
If you want to whore about then you shouldn’t be in a relationship. If you are in a relationship and whoring about, sorry you get no sympathy from me.
Bit concerning how many people here are focusing on the fact that it seems very likely she was Cheating on him, and not on the fact that he repeatedly punched her in the face for it. Violence is never the answer
