Always thought that Czech Republic was one of the bigger anti-Russian proponents in Europe especially comparing to Poland (mostly eastern Poland) that had much greater pro-Russian sentiment in earlier decades.

Most of the comments here are accurate, but I would like to add nuance to the “ZAKLADNY USA”. Couple years ago USA wanted to build radar and rocket silo in central bohemia south of Prague. Some people, including me, viewed that as unnecessary aggression towards Russia, putting focus on CZ. For me the problem was that it would not be USA funded silo to be operated by CZE-NATO forces, it would be american military base. That was too much for me and many other people, after protests the idea was scrapped.

Ofcourse now noone is suggesting any american military base, so it is pointless. And these are all retards or misguided to say the least, IMHO.
