I was wondering if anyone knew how to read this poem

  1. Tread softly on this hallowed ground,Saints sleep here bellow.Clapped roughly in their six-by-two

Or a shroud who cared to know

    Fever, famine, hunger pain

    The workhouse harsh eviction

    Poor Victims solicit for us

    Gods mercy and benediction.

  2. For the ‘left to right’ piss-takers: getting the right rhythm when reading a poem makes all the difference. 5 years of secondary school having sonnets hammered into me and they all just droned. Then I saw [Lin Manuel Miranda reading his acceptance speech sonnet](https://youtu.be/YCbBkb8hMEk) and realised that that’s what they’re supposed to sound like. If you had a shit English teacher in school, watch the LMM video and then read “Shall I Compare Thee…” to the same rhythm and realise that teacher was even more shit than you previously thought.
