  1. So called neutral Switzerland is doing it since long time ago while they are spiting in the face fake high morals by banning weapons and ammunition exports in Ukraine.

  2. If those weapons end up being used on civilians, Scholz will sign the prince’s birthday card with best regards instead of kind regards. That’ll show him.

  3. see here, the great german morality when faced with the choice between some extra gas and money, or supporting ukraine who’se fighting for the very values and freedom we hold dear in europe.

nice one germany, stay classy. i’ll look forward to the inevitable “ReEeEe GeRmAnY dOeS eNoUgH aLrEaDy No OnE eLsE iS sEnDiNg TaNkS” comments.

  4. Important Notes:

    >The ban was in line with ***Germany’s stance of not exporting weapons to active conflict zones***.
That stance has shifted this year as ***Germany came under pressure to provide Ukraine with weapons during Russia’s invasion.***

Sad reality how a country that supposedly labels itself to always be in the moral high ground, bent backwards when it comes to energy.

  5. Disgusting. Of course as is tradition the news will get heavily downvoted here to prevent people from seeing it.

  6. A lot of high horse comments here, but Saudi Arabia is the biggest arms export market of any western country that export arms.

It’s how they buy influence. Them and any rich gulf states.

And because arms manufacturing is the one sector remaining that western governments allow state intervention, it is often one of the few manufacturing industries retained and the most politically motivated industry. “Jerbs!”.

Arms sales to tyrants need to stop. But it can’t be done alone by individual countries.
