Truss tells Israel she is considering relocation of British embassy to Jerusalem

  1. Exactly how, during a financial and ecomonic crisis, will spending money to relocate an embassy from THE CAPITAL to the birthplace of a fictional character in a book help the economy in the UK?

  2. I’m glad she’s focusing on the issues the public are concerned about. I mean, who actually gives a toss about this, this minute?

  3. I mean why? Even if you agree with most of Israeli positions this just causes issues. The embassy is less safe in that city and furthermore most of the actual business is based in Tel Aviv, a city in which not even the most loopy Hamas blokes seriously contend is not Israel these days.

  4. “Well, we’ve pissed off the US, the EU, China, the Russians and the Indians, how can we further damage relations and Britain’s global standing today? Any ideas for the Middle East?”

  5. Fair play to Truss she’s really steeping up to the challenge of worst prime minister we’ve ever had. Maybe kick a baby next?

  6. So, if the Russian Federation decided it wanted to move its capital from Moscow to Sevastopol in occupied Crimea, Liz The Dim would go along with that nonsense as well?

  7. This is definitely going to lower inflation and sort out the economy. What a mastermind! Sir Kier Who? Really tho who is that right honourable gentleman?

  8. Of all the critical issues she faces, moving the embassy in a country with which we have negligible trade is her captains pick? Boy this going to go really badly isn’t it.

  9. Right wing bingo card
    Thatcher ✅
    Reagan ✅
    Trickle down ✅
    Jerusalem ✅
    Bankers bonuses ✅
    Uncosted tax cuts ✅

They really are all out of ideas aren’t they

  10. Pathetic, thought we couldn’t get worse than Johnson but here we are with a PM doing Trump impressions.

  11. When we said we liked “Jerusalem” more than “God Save the Queen”, this isn’t what we had in mind

  12. This and Fracking in the same week. Both pointless exercises that will stir up lots of animosity and even protests perhaps.

Looks like it’s culture war time.

  13. This lot are not even pretending to care for both sides. At least with previous administrations – there was the veneer of caring for the wishes of both parties.

  14. Can’t believe we thought boris was trump but in fact it was truss. I honestly didn’t think we could get worse than boris. Stunned.

  15. This doesn’t even make sense for her politically. The segment of the Trump base that really pushed for this in the US doesn’t really exist here.

  16. Trickle down economics? Transphobe? Against expansion of renewable energy? Relocating Embassy to Jerusalem?

Truss is a caricature of a conservative politician.
