Honestly, this is the exact opposite of how this should be handled. All the people who immediately got vaccinated haven’t gotten shit except more wait time at home because of all the idiots who didn’t get vaccinated and now those who didn’t do shit are being rewarded for their ignorance.
I’m not really a fan of this sort of thing. To me, it makes the whole issue of vaccination look like some kind of joke. Apparently these sorts of promotions (free beer for vaccination, free weed for vaccination) are at least marginally effective, but to me it just trivialises the issue.
If I were skeptical about vaccines and I saw this sort of stuff, it would just make me take the whole issue less seriously, which I think is the opposite of what we want. IDK maybe I’m just weird.

Isn’t that simply a nice PR trick? People who’re anti vaxx live in a different informational universe, often risking friendships, freedom and job prospects for their conviction. They’re not trying to game the system for perks.
