Howling wind with this movie is an amazing experience. Anyone have any other stormy night movies?
Twister.
One of the best films ever made
I’m a simple man, If I see something John Carpenter related, I will upvote it.
Unreal movie.
One of my all time favourites.
It’s up there with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre that, no matter how many times I see it, it still manages to completely freak the fuck out of me. Amazing flick, though.

“*Kill it with fire !”*
Nice [Nigel Farage cameo](https://youtu.be/QrWn0RHHEYY) as The Thing.
Warning: this clip is disturbing. May contain traces of Nigel
I know you gentlemen have been through a lot. But when you find the time, I’d rather not spend the rest of the winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!
Fuck that’s a good shout, I’ve been meaning to but was gonna wait until it snowed sometime but I might just watch it tonight as well
The prequel is quiet good and worth the watch just to see how well they fit together. I did a marathon a few weeks back and really enjoyed it.
Just bought the 4K disc, too. Excellent shout, OP.
This movie shakes me to my very core.
I’ve seen ‘The Thing’, but not ‘The Thing tonight’.
A favourite of mine, someone recommended the remake/prequel done a few years ago. May give it a go
You really want to save those crazy Swedes huh?
The original black and white has some great comedy in it.
Are you the only one who made it?
Where were you /u/Jukebox_Jim ?
Great call!
One of his better movies.
