He’s just massively boosted the hedge fund of the company he use to work for (Odey).

It’s a gamble that I hope works (as surely most of this sub will). The OBR model obviously hasn’t been working but that doesn’t mean it’s ‘wrong’.
He’s gambling with everyone else’s money knowing he’s got credit with the bookies. Actually seems to benefit him personally to mess the country up. Madness

This is the easiest and quickest way to encourage growth. There are better ways but they take time and they have spent a decade wasting time on brexit then covid.
