can someone translate these lyrics to English please?

    dansa du med labba så slit du ikke sko – If you dance in your socks, you do not wear out your shoes
    va du’kje galen so flaug du’kje so – Were you not crazy, then you didn’t fly so much

    I am not 100% sure on the last one, “so flaug du’kje so” is dialect and most likely old fashioned and possibly local slang, so I am not sure. Word for word it is “Were you not crazy, so flew you not so”

    Since these are slåttestev they rhyme in Norwegian. And by the way, if the last sentence is related to dancing, it might mean something like “if you weren’t crazy, you didn’t dance so wildly” jokingly implying the people who danced the hardest are the crazy ones.
